V4 Final was founded out of the frustration of being defined as a "cost center" despite volumes of successful engagements on contract negotiations, marketing reviews, IP protection, HR guidance, regulatory compliance, and other areas of high-value strategic advice and expert program implementation. Neither in-house lawyers nor their clients were happy with the lack of metrics, transparency and ease of the legal review process, leading to constant struggles to demonstrate the value of a great in-house legal team partnering with the business.

So we built a new type of legal application – a client centered one. We wanted to: 

• Prioritize legal reviews and deal flow in alignment with business priorities

• Transparently track open issues in a way that gives the client full visibility into the status of a request. Never again wonder about the status of a request.  

• Workflow management tools allowing legal and legal ops teams to assign resources based on business goals and priorities, tracking resources based on volume as well as complexity of a request. 

• Efficient, AI-backet business insights designed to get the lawyers the critical facts necessary to make decisions and give advice. 

• Automation of multi-stakeholder communications using AI to translate “legalese” and business jargon into clear language that everyone understands.

• Bring the receipts. We want the GC to quickly be able to articulate the true business value of having a high-impact legal team in house. Quantifiable metrics instead of qualitative surveys.
